In partnership with the Charity Commission, I will be taking part in a FREE Governance Workshop aimed a small charity trustees, staff and volunteers.
Date: Wednesday 7th November 2012, 10 am to 4:30pm.
Venue: Ascension Trust, Alpha House, Alpha Place, Garth Road, Morden, London SM4 4TQ.
Entry is free, but lunch will be provided at £5 per person.
This Workshop is being run as part of Trustees Week 2012, and is designed to help local trustees, staff and volunteers better understand the role of trustees, the importance of good governance, the various legal, financial and policy issues to consider, and a chance to meet and talk with various local trustees about their personal experiences.
